our prices are based on a fair, market-value price for musical services determined by the American Federation of Musicians, Local 99 according to current bylaws and pricing schemes; Union Scale Wage represents the minimum base pay and other fees may be necessary depending on circumstances such as location, mileage, cartage, etc. We will always provide a detailed accounting of all applicable fees upon request prior to booking.

Holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and all other major holidays shall be billed at double-scale or subject to alternate wage negotiation.

Additional Time: prices quoted are for 3-hour performance length. Additional time will be billed at $75 per musician per hour.

Mileage: for all engagements performed outside Portland Metro Area, mileage will be calculated at 36 cents per mile per musician.

Room/Board: for all engagements performed over 100 miles outside Portland Metro Area and ending after 10:00 pm, add on $100.00 per musician or equivalent hotel accomodation arrangement.

Sound System: for all engagements at which a sound system and a qualified professional sound engineer are not already provided: add on additional $350 to $500 depending on current local rates, size of room, etc.

Cartage: for all engagements where equipment must be hand-carried more than 20 feet from the vehicle to the stage area: add on $45 per musician each for the drummer, bassist, guitarist and pianist, and $25 per instrument for saxophone and brass instrumentalists.
